Holt's Caf
As its name suggests, Holt's Café, which serves light lunches, is situated in the Holt Renfrew Centre. Enter through the high doors and step into a sea of white, with cherry red leather chairs and black low sofas set off beautifully against the off-white Terrazzo floor. Minimalism at its best. Go for a drink or a mouth-watering lunch or a strong espresso in the morning. Try the Max Poilâne, the famous bread flown in specially from France, with some garlic mayonnaise or as one of the many Tartine sandwiches. Order a glass of cold champagne or one of the freshly squeezed fruit juices. Specialties include the Grilled Artichoke Hearts and the White Tuna Roll. The café is popular with businessmen and women who need to refuel in between shopping. Don’t be put off by the somewhat haughty service. This attitude has probably rubbed off from their colleagues at the Holt Renfrew Centre, a true shopper’s paradise.Address
