The Kitchen Club
The owner Samsom and her little dog Chibi are what you could call a trademark in the area and they are responsible for a warm atmosphere in this restaurant ‘The Kitchen Club’ and the neighbouring sake-bar, named after the little four-footer. From a corner in Nolita the most delicious things come out of the kitchen under the inspiring leadership of the hostess, who walks around, explaining things about the food and who even shows the fresh seasonal vegetables to guests at the table. Absolutely recommended are the dumplings, the ‘Mushroom Medley’ and the New Zealand steak (also Chibi’s personal favourite). The Kitchen Club is informal and personal and you find yourself in someone’s living room. But then in the tastefully furnished living room of a tremendous cook. Pity that you have to leave again at the end of the evening.Address
