Get your own drinks at the high bar knocked together from driftwood planks, which dates back to a previous century. You will be notified when the people at your table pay their bill, and 10 minutes later you will be picked up to have your meal in one of the 3 rooms in the restaurant. The ceiling and walls are covered in old, white zinc designs in relief. Old-school music: retro 90s. The daily specials are explained enthusiastically. The menu varies from an authentic NYC DuMac hamburger with endive salad in your grandmother’s best style, to tender fillet of halibut served with lemon and mint.
