Bouchon Bakery
Lunch and business go well together here, one floor below the famous Per Se, tucked away at the edge of the Time Warner Shopping Center, with a view of Central Park South. Women in sleek suits frantically check their Blackberries in this designed 50s retro-look café, which only opens for lunch: from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., every day of the week. A limited selection of French-seeming snacks is on the menu or on display behind the glass of the take-out showcase. Two different salads, and a wide range of pastries. The American version of a true Boulanger. A quiet place for a late breakfast. And the suit sighs in shame, straining at the seams to show how tasty the homemade pain-au-chocolat was.Address
