Gin Lane
Trendy New York goes back to the ’20s: the years of Prohibition and the luxurious salons. We see bordeaux red Chesterfields and velvet wallpaper between oak panelling. The mixologist rolls his eyes if you ask for a vodka cocktail; there’s a reason this place is called Gin Lane. The fireplace, centrepiece of the salon, is actually a DJ booth, which kicks into action after 10pm. Before a night of upscale clubbing in the Meatpacking District, a trendy crowd fortifies themselves with oysters followed by Alaskan king crab legs or filet mignon a la poivre. On to the Roaring Twenties?Address
