Restaurant Tfilis
Tfilis may sound like a VD, but it is an old-fashioned theme restaurant. Once it was the lonely trendsetter of ‘design’ restaurants in Moscow. Expect a long sequence of pleasant dinner halls with much artisan stuff and brown pictures of the good old days. Melancholy Georgian music and folkloristic design. In the summer, you should eat at one of the Tbilisi-style balconies. It is located near the expensive Ostozhenka Street with its black and silver BMW’s, but relaxed eaters have replaced the happy few. Order the good karcho mutton soup, fill your stomach with khatsapuri (cheese bread), tabaka (chicken with cream sauce), lobio (hot beans), red beet pchali. Have the courage to eat the khasi: beef with garlic, or khinkali, white dumplings with mutton. No big surprises, but excellent skill and the opportunity to get a good impression of the Georgian cuisine.Address
