Restaurant owner Novikov, a household word in Moscow, opens a new concept somewhere every year. Aist (stork) is the latest acquisition. Wriggle into your glamour jeans, work your way through the pontifically parked SUVs, Lamborghinis and Bentleys and bathe in luxury. You can choose from a street-side terrace, a roof garden and two indoor levels. The waiters get in each other’s way constantly, while fulfilling your every desire. Once inside, you’ll notice that the interior of Aist contains all the requisite components, but is not actually all that extraordinary. The menu is astronomically expensive, and the low chairs are a bit uncomfortable. The food makes up for everything. The foie gras is as soft as butter and the Chilean sea bass inevitably deserves a star.Address
