They call themselves "most fascinating place in Moscow". This peaceful, relatively upscale dining hall with bar 22 metres long, is still reasonably priced. At least if you consider how it lies at just a stone’s throw from the Red Square. This club restaurant likes to exaggerate. The menu is a mix of fusion and a choice of Russian classics. The descriptions on the menu are remarkable: "This dish was served at a reception marking the anniversary of Soviet/Yugoslavian co-operation". The lamb and the duck are very well prepared and the Russian favourite Shchi (cabbage soup) is tastier than in most Russian farmhouse kitchens. The clashing plastic menus have also a seasonal selection of vitamin food. If the waiting staff likes you, then you even get a little basket of raw vegetables, from which you may shamefully nibble away at. In the weekends the hip and flashy youngsters come here to be enticed by the DJ.
