The name may seem slightly communistic. Maybe you expected something else, but here you eat the best curries from Ha Noi. This Indian restaurant is run by an enthusiastic family, who are not Indian themselves. You cannot taste this though, even if tastes are combined in a subtle manner, now and then. Go for the Paneer Palak, which is homemade cream cheese, deep-fried and mixed with spinach, or the Shahi Korma (chicken with cashew nuts). The highest floor is for hire for special occasions and you can also have the curry delivered to your home. Foodshop is not located in the old centre, but nearby Lake Truc Bach, in the Chau Long market. Previously, an expensive Vietnamese restaurant was situated here, and this explains the not very Indian interior.Address
