Much written about, but a must-number for every restaurant-guide of Brussels. In a Victor Horta-like space enough serving staff are walking around in order to be able to cater to every whim and fancy. The disadvantage of businesses awareded with stars is that they are official and very stifff and formal, the advantage is that you can enjoy an absolutely perfect evening and you eat very well. This is called the very best restaurant of Belguim, situated on the Rouppeplein (the Rouppe Square). The dishes are absolutley artwork on plates. Young rabbit with Naamse snails, young breast of pigeon with honey perfume, rolled meat with apple with a duet of blue cheeses. The amounts are well proportioned and here and there a few things are even topped-up. The prices are, surprisingly, not bad at all, certainly for this type of place, although you will not find the young hipsters here at the damask tables. Enjoy the service with valet parking, the Art Nouveau style and the delicious fresh ingredients in this spot, which for generations has pleased the human interior.Address
