Belga Queen

The rattling stamp machines in this former post office/bank building are replaced by an echoeing buzz. Waiters and waitresses all who are cast according to their theatrical appearance, run back and forth dressed in a SM-nurse’s uniform that is tied from behind. Couples with diverse dispositions sit here and the older pleasure lovers hoist themselves gladly into their Sunday suits to enjoy the most delicious dishes. The beer menu, which goes coupled with small glasses of matching beer, is a must, but actually, all of the dishes are worth the trouble. As starter, salmon with mustard sauce or Boudin noir with scallops and as main course the superbly soft tenderloin with Bearnaise sauce. Visit a walled-in beer- and oyster bar and a popular cigar bar in the cellar-safe with palm panels (who thought this up?) that are as ugly as sin.
