Caf

The sign next to the bar boasts „Berlusconi free zone“. PC is being spelled in capital letters here. There is a separate room for non-smokers. With exhibitions, Italian language courses and, yes, food, Elisa and Gino, the two talkative proprietors, add culture to the place. The menu gets an overhaul on a monthly basis; some of the more adventurous creations of the two Italian chefs may not be everyone’s taste. However, most regulars come for two reasons: the crispy stone-oven pizza and the Italian way of life which is being celebrated at the many tables alfresco, while the scent of lime trees puts a spell on guests during the summer. The restaurant is a member of the Slow Food movement – so allow some extra time. Italian brunch on Sundays from 11 a.m.
