Susuru
Slurp with all your might! The Japanese name is an open invitation to slurp up your noodle soup loudly. There’s actually no other way to manage the huge bowl of piping hot soup with kilometres of crispy fried noodles floating on top. The menu contains healthy organic lemonades, juices, teas and waters, a few small starters and a number of small main courses. The cold Wabisabi Men soup, the Gyoza dumplings with vegetable filling and the Zumire Udon (thick noodles with Juzu Lemon Soup) are all equally delectable. The décor is modern, with stark designer chairs and barstools, a wall covered in giant photos of blossoms, shocking pink, virginal white, beautiful blooms and a lamp that bears an uncanny resemblance to an unmade bed. The owner is an enthusiastic hostess whose warm smile draws the business clientele and locals alike for lunch and dinner on weekdays. Smoking and card payments are taboo in this feminine paradise, so make sure you’re carrying enough cash. Fortunately everything is reasonably priced.Address
