Pan Asia
Want to make a quick tour of Asia in between the advertising and media boys? From Thailand to Japan in 90 minutes! This crowded restaurant, tucked away in the Hackescher Markt quarter, has an austere Japanese-style interior: black floors, high ceilings, tables and chairs in pale wood. Pulsating music throbs through the restaurant and the service is excellent. There are big communal tables with benches in the middle, but there’s also a private area with smaller tables and stools. Go down the spiral staircase to the ultramodern toilets (even if you don’t have to!), where you can lather your hands while watching Manga videos. The food feels tremendously healthy and is reasonably priced: from curries to fresh sushi. The tuna steak with mashed sweet potato and the Pad Puk (noodles with duck) are real must-tries. The vega burger is popular here as well. Enjoy sitting on the courtyard terrace in summer. And they do lunch and take-aways too!Address
