Rang Mahal
The first Indian restaurant in town to take it to the next level. The best day to go is Sunday for the lunch buffet, get there early before all the families dominate the landscape. The Restaurant, perched high above the rather sterile entry to the Rembrandt hotel, is a bit expensive but the fine food matches the standard of the level your are on. Luxurious surroundings with brilliant panoramic views, this is what brings people back to this upscale Indian restaurant so definitely ask for a window seat. The tables are set with white linen, tasteful silver wear, crystal and bone china, a royal touch without being excessive. What makes the difference is the service. Rather than place dishes in the centre of the table, the waiters place a small portion of each dish around the edge of each plate with saffron rice in the middle. Try out the shrimp curry. This is Indian gourmet and not the place for someone just looking for a curry and beer.Address
