Kinnaree
Kinnaree: ravishingly beautiful, half woman, half bird of paradise. That’s what the owner had in mind when thinking up this brand-new Thai gourmet restaurant. Thanks to her two restaurants in Paris, she was able to gain experience with sophisticated, out-of-the-ordinary creations. The cuisine is full of surprises, even for the Thais themselves: pineapple rolls with marinated beef, duck in tart tamarind sauce, and a truly divine cake made with young coconut. All beautifully wrapped and decorated, and served on lotus leaf plates by personnel who are unfortunately not quite used to the work yet. It’s a bit too new, though: the smell of chipboard distracts one’s nose somewhat. For those who want to enjoy exciting pre-dinner cocktails, there’s a bar outside in the garden, which has been decorated with fairy lights.Address
