A neon duck and closed curtains is all you see when you reach the bottom of the stairs at sky train station Prom Phong. Design-lovers and interior aficionados should avoid it at all costs; come here only for the authentic North Chinese food. The dishes come in large or small – perfect for sharing, and the servings are ample. Avoid the poor little shark fins, but choose dumplings, sesame jellyfish, fried eel or “coq-au-vin”, in Chinese (!) wine. The tables with their slowly spinning Lazy Susans are popular among groups of Chino-Thai. The best thing to do is ask one of these locals to order for you, then eat without looking around.Address
