The Met
Okay, this isn’t really a restaurant: it’s a hotel bar alias mini-club, where young people from the neighbourhood come to drink a cocktail. It’s also where the fashion and business set staying at the fabulous Metropolitan design hotel like to come if they don’t feel like jumping on the BTS. The sparsely-illuminated red and black room with the flickering water shadows on the wall makes for a mysterious and intimate feel. A rasta Thai stands at the back playing ’80s and ’90s beats. The personnel kneel before you as they bring tasty Met burgers with french fries, pizzas or Thai snacks, spreading a napkin like a tablecloth on your knee. Don’t be surprised if a drunken Chinese falls over with his chair on top of him, or if the bouncer outside comments on shoes being a bit too sporty. If you’d rather eat healthy food, you can go to Glow before clubbing. You can feel your health level rising with each bite in this back-to-nature restaurant with its divine biomixes.Address
