Pushing the limits as Bangkok’s contribution to cutting edge dining, Cyan makes a statement. The chef and her committed team express themselves through their global approach. She has refined the menu around a limitless belief in the finest local and imported produce. Ingredients are tested against the textures of each dish. Every mouthful evokes comment. A pity that she couldn’t have designed the dining space, where they focused on the detail but overlooked the feel. The few alfresco tables by the pool are a well kept secret, - if the weather prevails. Usually a Western maitre’d patrols over a well versed crew and discerning wine list. Save this for something special if price is an issue or simply warm up on a mix of shared appetizers for a night across at The Met Bar (see review).
