Foodloft (Central Chitlom department store)
Foodloft is hell on Earth for the indecisive, since they have almost everything: Thai, Indian, Vietnamese and Japanese, even including Italian food! Seating more than 500, this restaurant is not designed for intimate dining. After a day of shopping, however, it is more than worth your while to eat in this industrially designed food loft. The staff always offers new arrivals a friendly welcome and a card granting access to the various cooking islands. The food is prepared fresh, but don’t expect Jamie Oliver-style theatre: pick what you want and move on. After a dish is chosen, the tray is courteously carried to the table.
