Walking into one of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks diners, kitsch but cool. Decorated plastic flower tablecloths, neon lights, and bad copies of Philippe Starck plastic chairs. Offbeat and like a lot of the stuff you’ll find in Jachujak market but on the other side of the street. Nevertheless, the well decorated food stuffed in pineapples and coconuts is delicious. The fruit carvers have certainly spent their spare time sharpening their skills. The garnishes are immaculate. Go for the coconut filled with steamed seafood and curry, or the sweet macaroni with a fruit shake to wash it down. Its lovely to sit outside, blowing away all the sweat after a long day on Thailand’s most buzzing market of 10.000 stalls. A highlight for the shop-aholics who savour the rewards of tasty food.
